NOVELTY - A light-control material comprises a graphene-like carbon material which is surface modified by functional groups. In a UV-visible absorption spectrum of the graphene-like carbon material measured by UV-visible spectroscopy, the ratio of height of the peak derived from the functional group and height of the reference peak derived from the carbon hexagonal network surface of graphene-like carbon material is 0.6 or more. USE - Light-control material is used for forming light-control film for light-control laminate (all claimed) for indoor component, building component, and electronic component. ADVANTAGE - The light-control material is capable of effectively controlling light transmittance in a wide range from visible light to infrared light by applying a voltage. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a light-control laminate (1), which comprises a support (2A), a conductive film (3A) provided on support (2A), a light-control film (5) made of the light-control material provided on conductive film (3A), a conductive film (3B) provided on the light-control film, and a support (2B) provided on conductive film (3B).
