NOVELTY - Preparing doped graphene arrays and bamboo carbon electrodes comprises (i) selecting perennial purple bamboo, cutting the middle part into bamboo segments without bamboo joints, soaking the quartz sheet in concentrated sulfuric acid for 2 hours, and cleaning and drying with water, and (ii) placing the quartz sheet under the bamboo section, vacuumizing, heat treating at a pressure of 0.2 atmospheres and not less than 900 degrees C for 4 hours, naturally cooling to obtain a bamboo carbon electrode and depositing the doped graphene film of the quartz sheet, and mounting the quartz sheet deposited with the doped graphene film. USE - The method is useful in electrode for electrocatalytic reaction, and field of photocatalysis (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The bamboo carbon electrode has strong electrical conductivity and excellent electrocatalytic activity; and flexibly assembles into arrays and has excellent photocatalytic degradation of organics. The preparation method: is simple and feasible; and has potential industrial application value.
