▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A catalyst comprises sulfonated graphene/silicon-alumina as active components, and palladium/silicon-alumina as a carrier, where the ratio of sulfonated graphene/silicon-alumina and palladium/silicon-alumina is 1:3-3:1, preferably 1:2-2:1. The free acid concentration of sulfonated graphene/silicon-alumina is 0.05-1.5 mmol/g, preferably 0-1.5 mmol/g. The usage amount of palladium/silicon-alumina is 0.01-1 wt.%, preferably 0.05-0.02 wt.%. USE - The catalyst is useful for hydrogenation of acetone to methyl isobutyl ketone (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst enables hydrogenation of acetone to methyl isobutyl ketone with improved conversion rate of 65% and selectivity of 86%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) method of preparing catalyst; and (2) use of catalyst for hydrogenation of acetone to methyl isobutyl ketone.
