▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A ternary cadmium sulfide/zinc oxide/reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite comprises 19-20 mg cadmium sulfide/zinc oxide/reduced graphene oxide. USE - Ternary cadmium sulfide/zinc oxide/reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite used as photocatalyst. ADVANTAGE - The ternary nanocomposite is effective in natural sunlight, and efficiently reduces the hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium. The method is simple and economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of cadmium sulfide/zinc oxide/reduced graphene oxide, which involves solvothermally decomposing 400 mg cadmium iodide benzaldehyde thiosemicarbazone complex, 400 mg zinc acetate dihydrate, and 10 mg graphene oxide, refluxing the mixture in 10 ml ethylene glycol at 198 degrees C for 2 hours to obtain a residue, centrifuging residue at 5000 rpm to obtain cadmium sulfide/zinc oxide/reduced graphene oxide nanocatalyst, and drying the residue at 50-60 degrees C in oven.
