NOVELTY - A perfluorosulfonic acid membrane hydrogen permeation rate reducing method involves adding a graphene layer or a partially sulfonated graphene layer on the anode side or/and the cathode side of the perfluorosulfonic acid membrane. USE - Method for reducing perfluorosulfonic acid membrane hydrogen permeation rate for a fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The method enables reducing perfluorosulfonic acid membrane hydrogen permeation rate with high energy conversion efficiency, long cycle life, in simple and cost effective manner.
