NOVELTY - Preparation of borax buffer system graphene/carbon paper gas electrode involves flattening hydrophobic carbon paper to 25-34 mu m thickness, controlling water contact angle at 90-140 degrees , ultrasonic dispersing graphene oxide flakes in borax buffer, assembling electrophoresis cell using hydrophobic carbon paper as positive electrode, platinum as negative electrode and graphene oxide as electrolytic solution, performing decarboxylation reaction, controlling cell voltage with direct current power supply, real-time monitoring electrolyte conductivity, and stirring to obtain reduced graphene oxide. USE - Method for preparing borax buffer system graphene/carbon paper gas electrode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrode is environment-friendly, stable, and has improved charging/discharging cycle. The method is simple, and easy.
