NOVELTY - The apparatus has a digital camera (200) for performing graphene deformity occurrence for pixel of an image based on relative luminance of the image. The digital camera is used for capturing a picture of a visible light image of graphene. A white light source (100) emits white light to the graphene. A determining unit (300) determines defect site of the graphene. The white light source and the digital camera are located in a space. A light diffusing film is arranged between the light source and the graphene. A display section displays defect image of the graphene. USE - Graphene defect detection apparatus for use in display. Uses include but are not limited to a secondary battery, a solar cell, an LED and a sensor lamp. ADVANTAGE - The digital camera performs graphene deformity occurrence for pixel of the image in a defect region based on relative luminance of the image in non-defective region, so that accuracy, reproducibility and reliability of defect and failure detection can be remarkably improved. The determining unit determines deformity occurrence state of the graphene and defect site of the graphene so as to increase relative brightness value of the visible light image and graphene, so that the visible light image of the graphene can be obtained by a transmission light part.
