NOVELTY - The cell has a graphite/metal composite electrode provided with multiple block-shaped metal electrodes that are discretely arranged on a light emitting surface of a multi-junction cell part to form an ohmic contact. The ohmic contact is connected with multiple batteries. The block-shaped metal electrodes are arranged with a graphene film. A substrate is formed as gallium arsenide (GaAs), indium phosphide (InP), germanium (Ge) or silicon (Si) substrate. The graphene film is made of single layer graphene material and covered with an anti-reflection film. USE - Solar power generating graphene/metal composite electrode semiconductor multi-junction solar cell. ADVANTAGE - The cell is inexpensive, and reduces metal electrode shading area to increase effective light absorption area and improve conversion efficiency.
