NOVELTY - Preparing reduced graphene oxide involves dispersing N, N-Dimethylformamide and acetone in P(VDF-HFP) Poly (vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) solution at a temperature of 40-60 degrees C for 20 28 hours so as to achieve desired viscosity, filling the above solution into plasticsyringe of spinneret connectedwith positive terminal of a high voltage power supply and other wire of the supply connected to an aluminum foil placed on a collector plate provided at a distance of about 10 20 cm from the spinneret, feeding the solution into the spinneret at a rate of 0.3 -0.7 mL/h and applying a voltage in the range of 14 18 kV such that the solution starts spilling out of the spinneret and converted into threads being collected on the aluminum foil so as to obtain a electrospun nanofiber membrane, and peeling off the membrane from the aluminum foil and calcinating the same at a temperature of 350 -450 degrees C for 1.5 2.5 hours. USE - Method for preparing reduced graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare reduced graphene oxide in a cost-effective manner.
