NOVELTY - Preparing edge hydroxylation modified graphene, comprises carrying out modification reaction with graphene using modifying agent, adding oxidizing agent to carry out oxidation reaction, and processing. USE - The method is useful for preparing edge hydroxylation modified graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, economical and easy for industrial production; and has no special requirement for the device and high efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for edge hydroxylation modified graphene, comprising large amount of hydroxy functional group, which can improve the dispersibility of graphene in polar solvent.
