▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The optical probe has an optical fiber (12) with a first end (14A) and a second end (14B). An enhanced surface (24) is located on portion of the first end. The enhanced surface comprises patterned base layer including multiple protruding nano-pyramids. An intermediate layer is included over patterned base layer. A graphene layer (26) is includes instructions for over the gold intermediate layer. The light is delivered to the second end of the optical fiber, and reflections of the light from enhanced surface are used to detect one or more molecules in contact with enhanced surface. USE - Optical probe for performing in-vivo SERS. ADVANTAGE - The sensitivity of a SERS process performed in conjunction with the enhanced surface is increased and the chemical stability and bio-compatibility of the enhanced surface is also increased. The intensity of the light scattered from the enhanced surface is significantly increased, thus the SERS system is enabled to detect very low concentrations of molecules and even single molecules in a solution. The cost in producing the patterned base layer is reduced. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for performing in-vivo SERS. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a block diagram illustrating a system for performing SERS. Optical fiber (12) First end (14A) Second end (14B) Enhanced surface (24) Graphene layer (26)
