NOVELTY - Catalyst comprising zero-valent iron and phosphorus co-modified carbon material, where the zero-valent iron and phosphorus co-modified carbon material comprises carbon material as carrier, a zero-valent iron loaded on the carrier as an active component, and a phosphate functional group formed on the surface of the carbon material, is new. USE - The catalyst is useful for continuously producing 1,1,1,3-tetrachloro propane by gas-solid phase reaction (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst integrates active component zero-valent iron and the auxiliary component phosphate functional group on the carbon material carrier, so that the dependence of a traditional intermittent kettle type reaction on a liquid catalytic promoter is eliminated, and the continuous production of 1,1,1,3-tetrachloropropane on a gas-solid-phase fixed bed reactor is realized. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: preparing catalyst; and continuously producing 1,1,1,3-tetrachloropropane by gas-solid phase reaction, comprising providing the catalyst, encapsulating the catalyst in the gas-solid phase fixed bed reaction device to form a catalyst bed layer, continuously introducing the carbon tetrachloride and ethylene reaction gas raw material the catalyst bed layer, lifting the reaction raw material inlet pressure to 0.8-1.2 MPa, heating the temperature of the catalyst bed layer to 80-120° C, obtaining 1,1,1, 3-tetrachloropropane by catalytic oligomerization reaction, preferably, the volume ratio of carbon tetrachloride and ethylene is 1:2-2:1.
