▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A sponge for oil-water separation is prepared by reacting (A) polyol blend with (B) polyisocyanate and (C) graphene, in the presence of (D) catalyst, (E) foaming agent, and (F) foam stabilizer. Polyol blend (A) includes 1st polyol component having hydroxyl number of 33-60 mg KOH/g and oxyethylene content of 50-80 mol.%; 2nd polyol component having hydroxyl number of 80-300 mg KOH/g and oxyethylene content of 50-80 mol.%; graft polyol component having hydroxyl number of 20-40 mg KOH/g; tetrafunctional polyol component having hydroxyl number of 350-650 mg KOH/g; and glycerol. USE - A sponge for oil-water separation. ADVANTAGE - The polyol components may impart the sponge with oleophilicity and hydrophilicity properties, and increase the mechanical strength and tear resistance of the sponge (i.e., a dense structure, a fine cell structure, a desirable surface topography, and/or a desirable hardness), facilitating absorption and percolation of oil and water so as to improve continuous oil-water separation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for composition for making a sponge for oil-water separation comprising components (A)-(F).
