NOVELTY - A composite material having high redox electrocatalytic activity comprises 3-30% palladium nanoparticles, and MGN as carrier of palladium nanoparticles. USE - Composite material used as fuel cell cathode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has high oxidation-reduction catalytic activity, and is superior to the most advanced platinum/carbon catalyst, and is prepared using simple, easy, and economical method with excellent repeatability, which does not use organic solvent and stabilizer, and high temperature and high pressure conditions, and is suitable for large-scale industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the composite material, which involves adding MCM-22 molecular sieve to mixed aqueous solution of carbon source and concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring, leaving still, pre-carbonizing, adding the pre-carbonized solution to mixed aqueous solution of carbon source and concentrated sulfuric acid, leaving still, pre-carbonizing to obtain solid, calcining the solid under inert gas protection to obtain MCM-22/MGN composite material, treating to remove MCM-22, centrifuging, washing, drying, obtaining MGN, adding potassium tetrachloropalladate aqueous solution to the MGN aqueous solution, ultrasonically processing, adding mixed solution of alkali and reducing agent, reacting, centrifuging, washing, and drying. The mass ratio of MGN, potassium tetrachloropalladate, reducing agent, and alkali is 0-10:0.08-4.89:0.2-10:0.1-20. The mass ratio of MCM-22 molecular sieve, carbon source, and concentrated sulfuric acid is 1:0.5-3:0.05-0.3.
