NOVELTY - Method for preparing the aromatic diamine modified graphene oxide epoxy resin coating involves (a) preparing small flakes of graphene oxide by the modified Hummers method, and preparing 1-5 mg/ml graphene oxide aqueous dispersion, adding an aromatic diamine to the graphene oxide water dispersion, adjusting the pH value of the solution to 10-11, reacting, washing the reaction product with deionized water for several times until a colorless and transparent residue was obtained, ultrasonically dispersing the product uniformly, and performing vacuum freeze drying, (b) weighing aromatic diamine modified graphene oxide powder, ultrasonically dispersing it in deionized water, mixing the emulsion, the aromatic diamine modified graphene oxide water dispersion and the color paste, and mechanically stirring to obtain the aromatic diamine modified graphene oxide epoxy resin coating. USE - The method is used for preparing the aromatic diamine modified graphene oxide epoxy resin coating. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, and provides coating with improved corrosion resistance, overall hardness, improved adhesion and flexibility. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for preparing the aromatic diamine modified graphene oxide epoxy resin coating involves (a) preparing small flakes of graphene oxide by the modified Hummers method, and preparing 1-5 mg/ml graphene oxide aqueous dispersion, adding an aromatic diamine to the graphene oxide water dispersion, adjusting the pH value of the solution to 10-11, and carrying-out the reaction at 70-80degrees Celsius for 5-6 hours, after the reaction, washing the reaction product with deionized water for several times until a colorless and transparent residue was obtained, ultrasonically dispersing the product uniformly, and performing vacuum freeze drying to obtain aromatic diamine modified graphene oxide powder, (b) weighing aromatic diamine modified graphene oxide powder, ultrasonically dispersing it in deionized water to obtain aromatic diamine modified graphene oxide water dispersion, mixing the emulsion, the aromatic diamine modified graphene oxide water dispersion and the color paste in a mass ratio of 6:10:1, and mechanically stirring for 24 hours to obtain the aromatic diamine modified graphene oxide epoxy resin coating.
