NOVELTY - Preparing cobalt/bismuthoxybromide/titanium oxide/graphene oxide ternary composite photocatalyst involves forming doped cobalt oxide and bismuthoxybromide photocatalyst. The mol ratio of bismuth and cobalt is 100:0.5-3. Bismuth nitrate pentahydrate and cobalt nitrate hexahydrate are dissolved in polar organic solvent. The obtained mixture is added with sodium bromide. The obtained mixture is dissolved. The obtained dissolved mixture is added with surfactant. The obtained mixture is stirred ultrasonically. USE - Method for preparing cobalt/bismuthoxybromide/titanium oxide/graphene oxide ternary composite photocatalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare cobalt/bismuthoxybromide/titanium oxide/graphene oxide ternary composite photocatalyst in a simple and cost-effective manner with good practicability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing cobalt/bismuthoxybromide/titanium oxide/graphene oxide ternary composite photocatalyst involves forming doped cobalt oxide and bismuthoxybromide photocatalyst. The mol ratio of bismuth and cobalt is 100:0.5-3. Bismuth nitrate pentahydrate and cobalt nitrate hexahydrate are dissolved in polar organic solvent. The obtained mixture is added with sodium bromide. The obtained mixture is dissolved. The obtained dissolved mixture is added with surfactant. The obtained mixture is stirred ultrasonically. The obtained oscillated solution is transferred in a polytetrafluoroethylene reaction kettle. The obtained mixture is heat preserved. The obtained mixture is washed, filtered, and then dried to form cobalt/bismuth oxybromide photocatalyst. The cobalt-bismuth oxybromide/titanium oxide binary composite photocatalyst is prepared by weighing cobalt-bismuth oxybromide and titanium oxide, where molar ratio of bismuth and titanium is 0.25-0.75. The cobalt-bismuth oxybromide/titanium oxide binary composite photocatalyst is prepared by solvent thermal method. The cobalt-bismuth oxybromide and titanium oxide are dissolved in deionized water. The obtained mixture is ultrasonically oscillated. The obtained mixture is washed, filtered, and then dried to obtain cobalt-bismuth oxybromide/titanium oxide binary composite photocatalyst precursor. The obtained cobalt-bismuth oxybromide/titanium oxide binary composite photocatalyst precursor is heat preserved and then calcined in a muffle furnace to obtain cobalt-bismuth oxybromide/titanium oxide binary composite photocatalyst. The cobalt/bismuthoxybromide/titanium oxide/graphene oxide ternary composite photocatalyst is prepared by weighing cobalt-bismuth oxybromide/titanium oxide binary composite photocatalyst and graphene oxide prepared by closed oxidation method. The obtained weighed product is dissolved in deionized water. The obtained mixture is ultrasonically oscillated. The obtained mixture is washed, filtered, and then dried.
