NOVELTY - A nickel oxide based graphene nanocomposite preparing method involves mixing graphite oxide in deionized water, ultrasonic treatment, to give graphite oxide solution. Nickel nitrate is dissolved in deionized water, magnetic stirred to give a nickel nitrate solution, continue stirring and allowed to stand to obtain a nickel hydroxide precipitate, followed by mixing graphene oxide and nickel hydroxide aqueous colloidal solution solute, stirring, freeze-dried to obtain graphene oxide powder doped nickel hydroxide nanocomposites, followed by placing nanocomposites under inert atmosphere. USE - Method for preparing nickel oxide based graphene nanocomposite. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing graphene nanocomposite in simple, cost effective, and environmentally friendly manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A nickel oxide based graphene nanocomposite preparing method involves mixing graphite oxide in deionized water, ultrasonic treatment for 10-90 min, under ultrasonic power of 600-1000W to give a concentration of 0.1-5mg/mL graphite oxide solution. Nickel nitrate is dissolved in deionized water, magnetic stirred for 10-50 min, to give a 0.01-0.05 mol nickel nitrate solution, aqueous ammonium and keep stirring until the solution pH to 8-10, continue stirring and allowed to stand for 3-36 h after 20-40min suction 2-4 times to obtain a nickel hydroxide precipitate, deionized water is added to the precipitation of nickel hydroxide, sonicated for 0.2-1 h, to obtain a nickel hydroxide colloidal solution, followed by mixing graphene oxide and nickel hydroxide aqueous colloidal solution solute at mass ratio of 1: 5-70, stirring for 20-50min, after standing for 3-12h filtering for 1-3 times, freeze-dried for 12-24h grinding to obtain graphene oxide powder doped nickel hydroxide nanocomposites, followed by placing nanocomposites under an inert atmosphere at 250-500 degrees C for 3-6 h to obtain product.
