▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Manufacture of a porous graphene layer involves providing a catalytically active substrate provided with catalytically active domains in or on its surface, and capable of catalyzing graphene formation under chemical vapor deposition conditions, and carrying out chemical vapor deposition of carbon source on the substrate surface to form graphene layer with thickness less than 100 nm and pores with average size of 5-900 nm. The pores in the graphene layer are formed in situ due to the presence of the inactive domains. USE - Manufacture of porous graphene layer used as waterproof and highly breathable membrane for textile applications, water barrier membranes in particular for electronics e.g. cell phones and handheld devices, filters, gas separation membranes, electronic components for conductive, semi-conductive and/or electricity generating applications (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to military uniforms for chemical protection, emergency responder uniforms, protective gloves and outdoor electronic circuit protective packaging. ADVANTAGE - The method enables formation of graphene layer with controlled lower thickness, controlled pore size and good mechanical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Manufacture of a porous graphene layer involves providing a catalytically active substrate provided with catalytically active domains in or on its surface, and capable of catalyzing graphene formation under chemical vapor deposition conditions, and carrying out chemical vapor deposition of carbon source on the substrate surface to form graphene layer with thickness less than 100 nm and pores with average size of 5-900 nm. The pores in the graphene layer are formed in situ due to the presence of the inactive domains. The inactive domains have size corresponding to the size of the pores in the resultant layer.
