NOVELTY - Alkaline zinc-manganese battery cathode comprises 30-80 pts. wt. solid powder, 1-30 pts. wt. alkaline agent, 1-10 pts. wt. zinc oxide, 0.01-5 pts. wt. silicate, 0.1-5 pts. wt. agglomerant and 10-60 pts. wt. deionized water. USE - The alkaline zinc-manganese battery cathode is useful in battery field. ADVANTAGE - The cathode improves the overall capacity, conductivity and cycle performance of the battery; enhances the service life of the zinc-manganese battery and has broad development prospects. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing alkaline zinc-manganese battery cathode comprising (a) mixing conductive auxiliary agent, organic resins, ketone solvent, plasticizer and coupling agent, placing into a high-speed stirring dispersing reaction kettle, stirring at high speed for 30-50 minutes to obtain a mixed solution, (b) mixing, stirring the mixed solution obtained in step (a) with the nano-zinc powder for 20-30 minutes, centrifuging, volatilizing, drying to obtain a solid powder, (c) placing the solid powder, agglomerant, and silicate into a mixer, stirring evenly, preparing into dry powder, adding alkaline agent and zinc oxide into deionized water to prepare a strong alkali solution and (d) palcing the dry powder and strong alkali solution into a zinc paste machine, stirring uniformly, vacuumizing and removing air bubble to obtain the cathode.
