▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Producing polyamide composites containing graphene involves (i)dispersing a graphitic or graphenic material in an aqueous medium to yield an exfoliated material, and optionally removing non-reacted starting material from the aqueous mixture; (ii) mixing at least one lactam monomer; and (iii) adding at least one non-ionic surfactant. USE - For producing polyamide composites useful for gas barrier material, electroconductive material, thermally conductive material or mechanically reinforced material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene-containing polyamide composites having good electrically and/or thermally conductive properties, better crystallinity, good gas barrier properties and especially improved mechanical properties. Graphite oxide used in the method can hardly be further exfoliated where commercial graphene usually does not contain a sufficient proportion of monolayer graphene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Producing polyamide composites containing graphene involves (i)dispersing a graphitic or graphenic material in an aqueous medium to yield an exfoliated material, and optionally removing non-reacted starting material from the aqueous mixture; (ii) mixing at least one lactam monomer; (iii)adding at least one non-ionic surfactant; (iv) removing all water contained from the aqueous mixture obtained in step (iii); (v) heating the mixture to 100-200 degrees C; (vi) if the water content of the mixture obtained in step (v) is higher than 300 ppm, subjecting the mixture obtained in step (v) to a further drying process to obtain a mixture with a water content of at most 300 ppm; (vii) heating the mixture obtained in step (v) or (vi) to 100-200 degrees C; (viii) adding an anionic polymerization activator; (ix) adding an anionic polymerization catalyst; and (x)isolating the resulting polyamide composite, after polymerization is completed. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) polyamide composites containing grapheme; and (2) method for producing a gas barrier material, an electroconductive material, thermally conductive material or mechanically reinforced material comprising the polyamide composite.
