NOVELTY - Preparation of cathode material involves preparing three-dimensional nitrogen-doped graphene-coated silicon network, subjecting resultant to thermal plasma method to prepare nano-silica, preparing nano-silica template by subjecting resultant to mechanical preparation and subjecting resultant to chemical vapor deposition. USE - Preparation of cathode material of silicon-based lithium-ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The method enables large-scale preparation of cathode material having stable structure and cycle stability, with high yield. The nano-silica prepared in the process has excellent dispersibility, due to smaller particle size.
