NOVELTY - Preparation of stainless steel mesh comprises ultrasonically cleaning stainless steel mesh for 1 hour to remove surface dust and debris, washing successively with acetone, ethanol and deionized water, and drying; mixing dimethylformamide, glacial acetic acid, 2-aminoterephthalic acid and zirconium tetrachloride at molar ratio of 1:1:100:500, hydrothermally reacting at 120 degrees C for 24 hours, and ultrasonically dispersing in deionized water to obtain 1 g/L zirconium metal organic framework (UiO-66-NH2) dispersion; adding stainless steel mesh to 0.15 mol/L sodium silicate solution at pH 11.20 for 5 hours, soaking to UiO-66-NH2 dispersion for 1 hour, taking out, and washing with deionized water; and preparing graphene oxide through Hummers method, formulating to 0.1 g/L graphene oxide dispersion, adding stainless steel mesh, soaking for 12 hours, taking out, washing with deionized water, and naturally drying. USE - Method for preparation of stainless steel mesh used for oil-water separation (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The stainless steel mesh has high efficiency oil-water mixture separation. The method is environment-friendly, simple and easy, and has low cost.
