NOVELTY - Graphene-loaded vanadium pentoxide composite material comprises porous vanadium pentoxide nanosheets grown on the surface of layered graphene and interlayer. USE - The composite material is useful as anode material of aqueous zinc ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material: has excellent electrical conductivity, high structural stability and high electrochemical activity; and obtains aqueous zinc-ion battery having excellent cycle performance and ultra-high reversible specific capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the composite material, comprising (i) uniformly mixing the vanadium source and terephthalic acid, and graphene dispersion, transferring into the high-pressure reaction kettle and carrying out solvothermal reaction to obtain vanadium-metal-organic framework (MOF) doped graphene precursor, and (ii) pyrolyzing the vanadium-MOF doped graphene precursor to obtain the finished product.
