NOVELTY - Aqueous waterproof type anode functional coating adhesive comprises 10-80 pts. wt. ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids or anhydrides, 0-70 pts. wt. ethylenically unsaturated nitrile groups, 0-30 pts. wt. unsaturated functional monomer, 0-20 pts. wt. reaction type unsaturated surfactant, 0.3-3 pts. wt. initiator, 0-20 pts. wt. neutralizing agent, 0-40 pts. wt. multifunctional group additive, and 0-3 pts. wt. reaction auxiliary agent, where the multifunctional group additive is binary hydroxy compound, polybasic hydroxy compound, binary carboxy compound or polybasic carboxylic compound. The reaction auxiliary agent is Lewis acid sulfuric acid and/or sulfonic acid catalysts. USE - The adhesive is useful as an anode functional coating type current collector of a lithium battery (claimed) used in a power storage industry. ADVANTAGE - The adhesive: improves reproducibility of the lithium battery cathode; has excellent water-proof wiping property and high adhesive force; improves consistency of battery production; reduces probability of failure of the lithium battery application; and promotes development application of lithium batteries industry. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: preparing the coating adhesive, comprising (i) dissolving ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or acid anhydride, ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer, unsaturated functional monomer, reaction type unsaturated surfactant in pure water, stirring into uniform solution, adding 10-80% uniform solution into reaction kettle, and adding the remaining uniform solution to the pre-mixing kettle, (ii) dissolving initiator into pure water to prepare an initiator solution with a concentration of 0.1-10 wt.%, (iii) introducing nitrogen gas into reaction kettle to remove oxygen, stirring, and slowly heating the solution in the reaction kettle to 30-100°C, then adding initiator and solution in the premixing kettle to the reaction kettle while reacting, adding all the solutions to the reaction kettle, and heat preserving for 30-600 minutes to obtain the aqueous acrylic acid copolymer solution, and (iv) adding neutralizing agent, adjusting pH to 1-5, then adding multifunctional group additives, reaction auxiliary agent, uniformly stirring to obtain the finished product with a solid content of 5-40 wt.%; and use method of the coating adhesive, comprising fully dispersing 5-25 pts. wt. aqueous waterproof anode functional coating adhesive with 2-10 pts. wt. conductive carbon black, 0-6 pts. wt. graphite and 0-6 pts. wt. graphene, diluting to obtain functional carbon-coating slurry, coating the slurry on the copper foil, drying at 40-120°C, allowing to stand for 24-120 hours to obtain a functional carbon-coated copper foil with waterproof performance which is used as an anode functional coating type current collector of a lithium battery.
