▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - Implantable drug release structure comprises shape memory polymer having glass transition temperature greater than about 37℃. The thermal transduction agent is capable of absorbing near infrared light and inducing thermal motion in response. The thermal transduction agent is non-covalently associated with shape memory polymer. The drug non-covalently associated with implantable drug release structure is below glass transition temperature. USE - Implantable drug release structure used in implantable medical device (claimed), in intelligent robots and controllable circuits. ADVANTAGE - The implantable drug release structure has ease of operation, high biosafety, NIR sensitivity and remote and dynamic control. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. a method for administering drug to subject, which involves: a. providing implantable drug release structure; b. implanting implantable structure in subject; and c. irradiating subject with near infrared radiation in body region comprising implanted drug release structure, where thermal transduction agent absorbs near infrared radiation, and inducing shape change of implanted drug release structure and releasing drug; 2. a method for making implantable drug release structure, which involves: a. providing ink for 3D printing, ink comprises shape memory polymer, thermal transduction agent, and drug; b. printing ink into 3D object having first shape; c. heating object to above glass transition temperature of shape memory polymer; d. changing heated object's shape from first shape to second shape; and e. cooling object to below glass transition temperature while maintaining second shape; 3. a kit for preparing implantable drug release structure, which comprises ink for 3D printing, instructions for preparing implantable drug release structure using ink, drugs for addition to ink and use in method to prepare implantable drug release structure, and implantable medical devices as substrate during 3D printing; and 4. an implantable medical device, which comprises implantable drug release structures attached to device or present as coating or portion of device.
