NOVELTY - Graphene modified inorganic potassium silicate paint comprises 10-20 wt.% high modulus potassium silicate solution, 1-3 wt.% silane coupling agent, 8-10 wt.% silicone acrylic emulsion, 10-20 wt.% sodium aluminosilicate, 0.1-2 wt.% graphene, 15-20 wt.% zinc powder, 1-3 wt.% attapulgite, 1.5-1.8 wt.% auxiliary agent and 2030 wt.% deionized water. USE - The paint is useful for preparing metal anticorrosive coating (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The paint: has good toughness, adhesion and hardness; improves overall corrosion resistance; and prevents the metal surface from eroding. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing graphene modified inorganic potassium silicate paint comprising (1) taking potassium silicate solution and stirring magnetically at 1500 revolutions/minute, taking the silica sol slowly and dropping into the potassium silicate solution to control the temperature to 80-85 degrees C, adding water dropwise and controlling the mixed solution to stir under vortex to obtain high-molecular-weight potassium silicate solution, (2) weighing the graphene and silane coupling agent and placing in deionized water, stirring at 1500 revolutions/minute for 10-15 minutes and subjecting to ultrasonic treatment for 30 minutes to obtain a graphene dispersion, (3) taking high-molecular-weight potassium silicate solution and silicone-acrylic emulsion into the graphene dispersion, stirring and mixing for 20 minutes at 2000 revolutions/minute to obtain the base material and (4) adding attapulgite, sodium aluminosilicate and auxiliary agent to the base material in sequence and finally adding zinc powder to obtain graphene modified inorganic potassium silicate paint.
