NOVELTY - Carbon-coated medium-entropy phosphate composite material, comprises medium-entropy phosphate and its surface is in-situ coated carbon layer. USE - Carbon-coated medium-entropy phosphate composite material is used as anode active material of a sodium-ion battery to prepare a sodium-ion battery (claimed), and in electric automobile, electronic communication device and unmanned aerial vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The carbon-coated medium-entropy phosphate composite material has excellent chemical stability and thermal stability, and excellent electrochemical performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Carbon-coated medium-entropy phosphate composite material, comprises medium-entropy phosphate and its surface is in-situ coated carbon layer; the types of metal elements in the middle entropy phosphate ≥ 4; the general structural formula of the middle entropy phosphate is NaδMα(PO4)3, where M is titanium, vanadium, chromium, cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, yttrium, zirconium, niobium, molybdenum, cerium, manganese, magnesium, aluminum and iron; and the percentage of the amount of any constituent element in M to the total amount of constituent elements in M is 30-40%; and the molar ratio of sodium to M is 1-2:1. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the carbon-coated medium-entropy phosphate composite material.
