NOVELTY - Adsorption agent comprises 1-40 pts. wt. graphene oxide and 1-30 pts. wt. nano zirconia. USE - Adsorption agent for removing phosphorus. ADVANTAGE - The adsorption agent is efficient, has large capacity and can be recycled. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing adsorption agent, which involves: (A) weighing graphite powder, placing in dry beaker, adding 20-40ml of 98% concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring at 78-82 degrees C in water bath, adding 5-10g potassium persulfate and phosphorus pentoxide, stirring for 4-6 hours, cooling to room temperature, and diluting with deionized water, allowing the solution to stand for 24 hours, filtering the product with 0.2 micron millipore filter, washing with deionized water until the solution became neutral, and drying the powder at 68-72 degrees C, transferring the obtained powder to a beaker, adding sulfuric acid, stirring under ice-cooling, adding 20-50g potassium permanganate, stirring in a water bath at 30-35 degrees C for 1-3 hours, diluting with deionized water, adding 30-50 ml of 30% hydrogen peroxide, centrifuging the solution, washing with dilute hydrochloric acid to remove the sulfate ion, detecting with a solution of barium nitrate, again washing with deionized water until the neutral product is obtained, and drying at 68-72 degrees C to obtain graphene oxide solid powder; (B) preparing graphene oxide/Nano zirconia composite by ultrasonic dispersion in deionized water, then formulating 1g/l graphene oxide dispersion, adding 0.01-1g nano-zirconia to a volume of 1g/l graphene oxide solution, stirring for 1-3 hours, transferring suspension to a hydrothermal kettle at 148-152 degrees C for 5-6 hours, washing the solid with deionized water at 58-62 degrees C for 11-13 hours in a vacuum, and drying in oven to obtain graphene oxide/nano zirconia composite; and (C) weighing 0.1-1g graphene oxide/nano zirconia powder and 1-15mg/l phosphorus-containing solution, thermostat shaker shock for 22-26 hours, centrifuging, filtering and determining balance phosphorus concentration.
