NOVELTY - A graphene/nylon 6 fiber contains 100 pts. wt. graphene/nylon 6 nanocomposite material and 0-5 pts. wt. additive by high-speed melt spinning. The relative viscosity of monolayer graphene/nylon 6 nanocomposite material is 3.2-3.6. The transverse dimension of monolayer graphene grafted with nylon 6 is greater than 2 mu m. The mass ratio of graphene and nylon 6 is 0.1-0.5:100. USE - The graphene/nylon 6 fiber is used for tire cord, industrial fabric, net and cable such as national defense and industrial application. ADVANTAGE - The graphene/nylon 6 fiber has excellent mechanical property, tensile strength of greater than 8 cN/dtex and initial modulus of more than 9 GPa. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation method of graphene/nylon 6 nanocomposite material, which involves uniformly mixing 0.1-0.5 part mass modified graphene, 0.05-0.3 parts mass molecular weight regulator, 1-10 parts mass deionized water and 100 parts mass molten caprolactam and stirring at high speed of 300-500 rpm to form dispersion, where the modified graphene has carboxyl, hydroxyl and other oxygen-containing functional group of monolayer graphene, and the ratio of carbon/oxygen is 2.5-6, mixing the dispersion in polycondensation reaction kettle under the protection of nitrogen, heating at 250-270 degrees C and reacting at pressure of 0.5-1 MPa for 3 hours, then reacting for 4 hours under vacuum, to obtain polymer melt, cooling polymer melt and granulating.
