NOVELTY - Pole piece comprises a current collector and a conductive layer coated on the surface of the current collector, where thickness of the pole piece is 20-4000 um and the conductive layer includes 80-98.5 wt.% activated material, 0.1-10 wt.% dotted or planar conductive material, 0.01-5.0 wt.% linear conductive agent and 0.2-10 wt.% binder. USE - The pole piece is useful for lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The pole piece uses high active material content electrode formulation, reduces the weight and volume ratio of the non-active material, battery energy density is obviously improved compared with the existing product, under the premise of ensuring the electronic product endurance, the weight, volume of the battery is greatly reduced, the battery volume is not changed, the product endurance time can be greatly improved, and the battery cost is reduced.
