NOVELTY - Preparing dense and stable garnet-shaped silicon-graphene composite electrode material comprises (i) performing ultrasonic treatment of graphite oxide filter cake with an average size greater than 100 mum to obtain graphene oxide dispersion, using concentrated sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide for treating nano-silicon particles to obtain modified silicon, adding the modified silicon to graphene oxide dispersion liquid, and ultrasonically stirring, (ii) feeding silicon and graphene oxide dispersion into the nozzle through a peristaltic pump, atomizing dispersion under the action of a carrier gas, dispersing in the form of fine droplets into an aqueous solution of benzyltriethylammonium bromide to obtain granular precipitate, and removing excess benzyltriethylammonium bromide, (iii) dispersing the precipitate obtained in the step (ii) in water again to obtain suspension, spray drying, collecting the powder by a cyclone separator, and naturally cooling. USE - The material is useful for preparing lithium ion batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: does not need toxic and harmful solvents; has mild conditions, and easy large-scale preparation.
