NOVELTY - Modified silane emulsion comprises 50-60 wt.% silane monomer, 0.05-0.5 wt.% polydopamine modified graphene oxide, 1-5 wt.% aqueous phase emulsifier, 0.1-0.5 wt.% dispersant, 1-5 wt.% oil phase emulsifier and 35-45 wt.% water. USE - The modified silane emulsion is useful in protection of cement-based materials, rocks, metals, plastic products, wood or textile fabric (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The modified silane emulsion has excellent adhesion, anti-stripping performance, water resistance, resistance to chloride and sulfate corrosion and penetration, and resistance to corrosion of steel bars. The polydopamine functionalization of graphene oxide can increase the utilization rate of graphene oxide and greatly reduce the amount of graphene oxide material, so that the cost of modified silane emulsion can be greatly reduced. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the modified silane emulsion, comprising (a) mixing the aqueous phase emulsifier, dispersant, poly-dopamine modified graphene oxide and water to obtain aqueous phase, (b) mixing the oil phase emulsifier and silane monomer to obtain oil phase, and (c) dropping the oil phase into the aqueous phase and mixing, where the step (a) and (b) has no time sequence.
