NOVELTY - Preparation of nickel selenide/graphene composite material comprises dispersing nickel dichloride hexahydrate and sodium citrate in deionized water to obtain mixture of nickel dichloride hexahydrate and sodium citrate, dispersing selenium in hydrazine hydrate to obtain selenium solution, mixing nickel dichloride hexahydrate and sodium citrate with selenium solution, heating mixture in water at 120-160 degrees C for 8-12 hours, washing, freeze-drying to obtain nickel selenide, dispersing in deionized water to obtain reduced graphene oxide, adding hydrazine hydrate as reducing agent, refluxing at 85-95 degrees C for 5-8 hours, cooling, centrifuging, washing, freeze-drying, dispersing nickel selenide and reduced graphene oxide in deionized water, performing hydrothermal reaction at 120-160 degrees C for 8-12 hours, washing and freeze-drying. USE - The method is for preparation of nickel selenide-graphene composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method has good conductivity, improved conductivity, excellent electrocatalysis performance and good stability in oxygen and hydrogen evolution reaction (OER) process of electrolytic water.
