NOVELTY - Electrode material, prepared by mixing zinc nitrate hexahydrate solution with dimethyl imidazole solution, adding ethanol mixed solution containing dimethylglyoxime, stirring, washing, mixing the beta -cyclodextrin solution with the graphene oxide solution, adding reducing agent for reduction, stirring, washing, diluting the materials to a suspension with a concentration of 3.5-4.5 mg/ml and 9.5-10.5 mg/ml, mixing and stirring, is claimed. The reducing agent is 1.5-2.1 mg/ml ascorbic acid. USE - The electrode material is useful for detecting nickel ions in an electrode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrode material has large adsorption capacity and good conductivity, and greatly expands the detection range of different nickel ion concentration, realizes sensitive selective detection and effective adsorption of the nickel ion, and has wide market application prospect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparation method of electrode material; (2) use of electrode material for detecting nickel ions in an electrode; and (3) method of detecting nickel ions in an electrode using electrode material.
