▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Surface treated carbon fibers comprises carbon fibers, carbon nanofilm, preferably shellac-derived carbon nanofilm formed on the surface of the carbon fibers, and a polymer matrix disposed on the carbon nanofilm. The carbon nanofilm comprises at least one graphene oxide layer, where the carbon nanofilm has a thickness of 2-100 nm, and the carbon nanofilm and the carbon fibers are chemically bonded and connected by a carbon-carbon covalent bond. The carbon nanofilm includes a carboxylate group (COO) and/or a hydroxyl group (OH) on the surface. The carbon nanofilm has a content ratio of carbon element and oxygen element of 88:12-99:1. The polymer matrix comprises an epoxy resin, a phenol resin, vinyl ester resin, polyester resin, polyethylene resin, polyimide resin, polyether ketone resin, polyamide resin, polycarbonate resin, poly-ether-ketone-ketone resin and/or polyetherimide resin. USE - The carbon fibers useful in surface-treated carbon fiber composite. ADVANTAGE - The surface treated carbon fibers increases bonding strength during formation of composite with various resins, and improves interfacial properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for producing surface-treated carbon fibers, comprising (a) providing a coating solution comprising a carbon source on the carbon fiber, and (b) heat-treating the carbon fibers provided in the coating solution to form a carbon nanofilm on the carbon fibers, where the coating solution is prepared by dispersing a carbon source in an organic solvent.
