NOVELTY - Lubricating oil additive comprises a homogeneous mixture formed by mixing nano-sized boron nitride particles dispersed in the glycerol solvent and glycerol, where the mass ratio of the boron nitride microparticles dispersed in glycerol and glycerol is 5-20:1. USE - The additive is useful for new energy vehicle (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The additive: has sheet-shaped graphene structure; is an excellent lubricating oil additive; modifies boron nitride to optimize its performance; controls the homogenization time and voltage to obtain products with suitable particle size of boron nitride; prepares nano-boron nitride particles having excellent specific surface area; has excellent anti-friction and anti-friction effects; reduces friction between engine parts; and prolongs the service life of engine. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the additive, comprising (i) adding nano-sized boron nitride particles and glycerol solvent into an ultrasonic homogenizer according to a predetermined mass ratio to perform homogenization for a predetermined time, and (ii) homogenizing for a predetermined time, allowing the product obtained in the step (i) to stand to obtain the finished product.
