NOVELTY - Preparing biomass assisted nitrogen-doped graphene-carbon nanohorn composite material, comprises (i) ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide with biomass feedstock in deionized water to obtain homogeneous solution, adding nitrogen and carbon nano-horn, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain graphene oxide-biomass-nitrogen substance-carbon nanohorn mixture solution; drying the solution, to obtain nitrogen-containing precursor mixture; and (ii) adding nitrogen-containing precursor mixture into a reactor, passing inert gas into the reactor, carrying out pyrolysis by heating, cooling. USE - The composite material is useful for preparing lithium-ion battery electrode material or supercapacitor electrode material (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing biomass assisted nitrogen-doped graphene-carbon nanohorn composite material, comprises (i) ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide with biomass feedstock in deionized water to obtain homogeneous solution, adding nitrogen and carbon nano-horn, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain graphene oxide-biomass-nitrogen substance-carbon nanohorn mixture solution; drying the solution at 60 degrees C, to obtain nitrogen-containing precursor mixture; and (ii) adding nitrogen-containing precursor mixture into a reactor, passing inert gas into the reactor, carrying out pyrolysis by heating to 500-1100 degrees C, cooling at room temperature for 1-3 hours. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for biomass assisted nitrogen-doped graphene-carbon nanohorn composite material, prepared as mentioned above.
