NOVELTY - The preparation method of graphene-based coating involves obtaining 11-20 wt.% tetraethyl orthosilicate, 0.01-2 wt.% graphene derivative, 0.1-10 wt.% cerium salt, 0.01-1 wt.% surfactant, water, and ethanol, spray-painting, dip coating, and coating on the surface of substrate, and drying the coating at 100-400 degrees C. The particle size distribution of graphene derivative is 1-100 mu m. The thickness of graphene derivative is 1-100 nm. The cerium salt is cerium nitrate, cerium carbonate, or cerium sulfate. The surfactant is sodium dodecyl sulfate, or alkylphenol ether. USE - Preparation of graphene-based coating for marine equipment (claimed) used in submarine ship for deep-sea drilling, and maritime surveillance. ADVANTAGE - The environmentally-friendly method enables the preparation of graphene-based coating for marine equipment having excellent corrosion resistance, and stain resistance.
