NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-modified furan resin comprises (i) adding graphene into an organic solvent and dispersing uniformly to obtain diluted graphene solution, (ii) mixing furan resin (10-30% of total mass of furan resin) with graphene solution and stirring uniformly to obtain mixed solution, (iii) distilling the mixed solution to remove organic solvent and mixing with remaining amount of furan resin, and (iv) reacting at 100-140 degrees C, where the mass ratio of graphene and furan resin is 0.6-2:1000. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-modified furan resin (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene-modified furan resin has impact strength, good toughness and good collapsibility.
