NOVELTY - Preparing graphene coated silicon carbide nano wires involves washing porous carbon material with distilled water. Washed product is dried and treated with nickel nitrate solution. Treated product is dried, and argon is deposited over dried product under pressure of 2 megapascals. Trichlorosilane is deposited over obtained layer for 10-120 minutes. Obtained product is cooled to room temperature to obtain final product. USE - Method for preparing graphene coated silicon carbide nano wires (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene coated silicon carbide nano wires with improved toughness.
