NOVELTY - The preparation of graphene-silica ceramic composite powder, involves (1) adding coupling agent solution to silica ceramic powder, stirring for 30-60 minutes to obtain mixed slurry, (2) adding graphene oxide to distilled water to obtain suspension, (3) adding suspension to mixed slurry and stirring for 30-80 minutes to obtain graphene oxide-silica ceramic composite solution, (4) placing graphene oxide-silica ceramic composite solution in vacuum oven to form composite powder at 80-120 degrees C, and (5) subjecting composite powder to thermal reduction reaction at 700-900 degrees C. USE - Preparation of graphene-silica ceramic composite powder. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene-silica ceramic composite powder ensuring high strength and increased toughness.
