NOVELTY - Filter material is prepared by (a) mixing 5-10 parts graphene oxide, 5-10 parts chitosan, 1-5 parts wool keratin, 1-5 parts calcium alginate, 1-5 parts cross-linking agent, and 60-80 parts deionized water, (b) ultrasonically processing obtained mixture, (c) freeze-drying the mixture, (d) grinding freeze-dried mixture, and (e) sieving ground mixture through 1000-2000 meshes sieve. USE - The filter material is useful for purifying indoor air (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The filter material utilizes easily available regenerable components, has three-dimensional porous structure and good mechanical strength, and is easily degradable and regenerable, cost-effective and environmentally-friendly.
