NOVELTY - Method (M1) for transferring poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)-coated graphene from source substrate to target substrate, comprises: e.g. (a) cutting source substrate into pieces, where source substrate has been coated with chemical vapor deposition (CVD) graphene (201); (b) spin-coating a layer of PMMA (301) on surfaces of CVD graphene; (c) etching away the source substrate from PMMA-coated CVD graphene with etching solution; (d) floating PMMA-coated CVD graphene in etching solution; (e) placing PMMA-coated CVD graphene into deionized water; and (f) rinsing PMMA-coated CVD graphene. USE - The method is useful for transferring a PMMA-coated graphene from a source substrate to a target substrate. ADVANTAGE - The method: is efficient in transferring PMMA-coated graphene to a wide variety of different substrate surfaces; does not damage the mechanical and electronic properties of the graphene; can be performed in a very quick and easier manner; and is reliable and cost effective. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method (M1) for transferring a poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)-coated graphene from a source substrate to a target substrate, comprises: (a) cutting the source substrate into pieces, where the source substrate has been coated with chemical vapor deposition (CVD) graphene (201); (b) spin-coating a layer of PMMA (301) on surfaces of the CVD graphene; (c) etching away the source substrate from the PMMA-coated CVD graphene with an etching solution; (d) floating the PMMA-coated CVD graphene free from the source substrate in the etching solution; (e) placing the PMMA-coated CVD graphene into deionized water; (f) rinsing the PMMA-coated CVD graphene to wash away the etching solution; (g) coating the PMMA-coated CVD graphene onto a polymer (302), in response of the step (f) of rinsing; (h) drying the polymer, where the polymer has been coated with the PMMA-coated CVD graphene; and (i) obtaining the polymer which has been coated with the PMMA-coated CVD graphene.
