NOVELTY - A catalyst comprises inorganic nanoparticles coated with a free ligand, supported on a graphene oxide nanosheet. USE - Catalyst is used for reduction of nitroarene compounds (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has excellent catalytic activity and stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of catalyst, which involves manufacturing inorganic nanoparticles coated with free ligand, and reacting the inorganic nanoparticles with graphene oxide nanosheet; and (2) reduction of nitroarene compound by using the catalyst.
