NOVELTY - Preparing graphene electrode material comprises (i) preparing graphene oxide, then grinding, and pressing into tablets to obtain graphene oxide target, (ii) soaking the foamed nickel in dilute hydrochloric acid to remove surface oxides, washing using deionized water, drying, and placing in the plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition vacuum device together with the graphene oxide target to obtain deposited graphene oxide target and foamed nickel substrate, (iii) focusing the laser beam onto graphene oxide target using pulse laser, the high energy of the laser beam instantly melting out the target plume, and depositing on the foamed nickel substrate to obtain primary graphene electrode material, and (iv) grinding and sieving the primary graphene electrode material, and mixing with organic carbon source and catalyst precursor, then performing heat-treatment under reduced atmosphere, and cooling naturally to room temperature to obtain final product. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene electrode material. ADVANTAGE - The electrode material: has improved energy storage property, specific capacitance value and energy density.
