NOVELTY - Fibrous electrode (100) comprises a graphene layer (20) formed on the surface of a metal wire (10); and an electrode layer (30) formed on the surface of the graphene layer, where the electrode layer includes reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and activated graphene. USE - The fibrous electrode is useful for supercapacitor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The fibrous electrode and supercapacitor have excellent flexibility and electrical conductivity, excellent interlayer adhesion, excellent mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and heat resistance, and excellent energy storage properties, productivity and economical efficiency; and exhibits high capacitance (about 200 F/g or more) only by storing electrical energy by the electric double layer effect, not by storing electrical energy by redox reaction. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) manufacturing fibrous electrode, comprising forming graphene layer by chemical vapor deposition of graphene on the surface of the metal wire, and forming electrode layer on the surface of the graphene layer by electrophoretic deposition of an electrode material containing at least one of graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide on the surface of the graphene layer, and activated grapheme; and (2) supercapacitor comprising a cathode disposed to face the anode, and a polymer electrolyte for supporting the anode and cathode, where at least one of anode and cathode includes fibrous electrode.
