NOVELTY - Preparing ethylene glycol dodecyl ether (GDE) functionalized graphene oxide lubricating oil involves mixing graphene oxide and GDE at a mass ratio of 13:1 to 5:1, adding anhydrous N,N'-dimethyl formamide (DMF) to form a suspension, adding dicyclohexylcarbodiimide and dimethylaminopyridine, carrying out esterification reaction, centrifuging the product after the reaction is completed, freeze-drying to obtain modified graphene oxide powder, and adding poly alpha olefins (PAO) to obtain ethylene glycol dodecyl ether (GDE) functionalized graphene oxide. The obtained product is left to stand for 20 days to observe whether there is any sedimentation phenomenon. USE - Method for preparing ethylene glycol dodecyl ether (GDE) functionalized graphene oxide lubricating oil. ADVANTAGE - The method for preparing ethylene glycol dodecyl ether functionalized graphene oxide lubricating oil enables to obtain a high-performance lubricating oil product, which has excellent stability and anti-friction effects. The method is simple, and stable in product yield.
