NOVELTY - Preparation of nano magnetic compound, involves mixing graphene oxide powder with hydroxypropyl- beta -cyclodextrin deionized water solution, adding aqueous ammonia solution and hydrazine hydrate solution, reacting, centrifugally separating, washing the solid product, and vacuum-drying to obtain hydroxypropyl- beta -cyclodextrin-graphene complex, mixing ethylene glycol solvent, obtained complex, sodium acetate, polyethylene glycol, and ferric chloride hexahydrate, heat-reacting, magnetically separating solid and liquid product, and drying the solid product. USE - Preparation of hydroxypropyl- beta -cyclodextrin-graphene/ferrosoferric oxide nano magnetic compound for use in sewage treatment. ADVANTAGE - The method provides an effective way for graphene to be used as adsorbent in sewage treatment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of nano magnetic compound, involves mixing graphene oxide powder with hydroxypropyl- beta -cyclodextrin deionized water solution at 70-90 degrees C for 10-20 hours, adding 0.6-1 wt.% aqueous ammonia solution and 0.1-0.5 wt.% hydrazine hydrate solution, reacting for 12-16 hours, centrifugally separating, washing the solid product until the pH is 7, and vacuum-drying to obtain hydroxypropyl- beta -cyclodextrin-graphene complex, mixing ethylene glycol solvent, obtained complex, sodium acetate, polyethylene glycol, and ferric chloride hexahydrate, heat-reacting in a reactor at 170-190 degrees C for 12-18 hours, magnetically separating solid and liquid product, and drying the solid product to obtain hydroxypropyl- beta -cyclodextrin-graphene/ferrosoferric oxide nano magnetic compound.
