NOVELTY - Preparing graphene/ferric oxide nano composite material, involves dispersing graphene oxide in mixed solution of distilled water and ethylene glycol ultrasonically. The ferrous sulfate heptahydrate, and polyvinylpyrrolidone are dispersed in the mixed solution, and stirred uniformly followed by the addition of hydrazine hydrate and then stirred. The mixed solution is added into a sealed environment, and heated for 15-20 hours at 180-200 degrees C. The obtained material is washed and dried to obtain graphene/ferric oxide nano composite material. USE - Method for preparing graphene/ferric oxide nano composite material used as lithium ion battery cathode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene/ferric oxide nano composite material that has higher reversible capacity, good multiplying power property and excellent stability, ferric oxide nano particles are uniformly deposited on the graphene nano-layer composite material that prevents the agglomeration of graphene, and effectively increases the conductivity of the electrode and stability of the structure. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a lithium ion battery cathode which comprises graphene/ferric oxide nano composite material.
