NOVELTY - A lead-carbon battery negative electrode lead slurry comprises 100 pts. wt. lead powder, 5-10 pts. wt. graphene-based polymer, 0.5-1.0 pt. wt. barium sulfate, 0.05-0.5 pt. wt. humic acid, 0.05-0.3 pt. wt.short fiber, 0.01-0.5 pt. wt.conductive carbon black and 0.1-5 pts. wt. water. The graphene-based polymer is prepared by doping at least one of polypyrrole and polyaniline with lignosulfonate, taking graphene as a framework and doping an adhesive thickener. USE - Negative electrode lead slurry used in preparation of battery electrode plate for lead-acid batteries and lead-carbon batteries (all claimed), used for hybrid electric vehicle and intermittent new energy storage applications. ADVANTAGE - The lead-carbon battery negative electrode lead slurry uses graphene-based polymer, which prolongs the cycle life of the high-rate partial charge of the battery, reduces the formation of irreversible coarse sulfate on the negative electrode plate and the internal resistance of the battery, improves the utilization rate of active materials and the strength of the negative electrode plate, and ensures the improvement of the battery charge acceptance and slow down the sulfating of the negative electrode.
